The move and copy content feature of Academy makes the process of creating learning programs easier and much more efficient by allowing learning designers to copy or move learning content from different programs into their newly created programs.

The screenshot shows the edit view of a program. One page of the program has been selected, showing the description and learning content. The buttons for 'move' and 'copy' are highlighted at the bottom of the page to indicate how to add new learning activities.

This article describes the process for moving and copying individual content items and tasks. You can also move and copy entire sections of content items and tasks. Read about how to do this here.

To move content items and tasks:

  • Open desired program section where content is to be displayed
  • Select the “move” content option
  • Select the desired page, section, and content type you wish to move
  • Select the desired content item you wish to move across

The image shows the workflow once 'move' has been selected. A series of drop-down menus pop up in a new window for the user to select where they want to move content from within that page, section and content type. The next pop up asks the user to select exactly which content they want to move. Once making the selection, the user would press the 'move' button.
