Due dates can be assigned to sections in Academy and displayed in the program calendar. You can also create reminders for due dates.
Adding a Due Date to a Section
After adding a new section, you can select ‘Due Date’ in the ‘Section Type’ drop-down in the Details tab. Then, select the ‘Due Date Type’ and ‘Due Date.’
Due Date Reminders
You can set reminders for learners both before and after the session’s due date in the Reminders tab.
Reminders will be sent as an email. You can select the number of days after the due date for the email to be sent. Then, begin to edit the email template as required.
If you do not wish to use the standard template for the program, you can opt for a customised email.
Email Variables
Email variables are used to insert information that is unique to either a user or a program. This information can be used to populate the email template.
The variables available for each email can be found at the bottom of each template. Ensure that you copy the variable exactly when inserting it into the email.
Past Due Reminders
As with due date reminders, past due reminders will be sent as an email. You can select the number of days after the due date for the email to be sent. Then, begin to edit the email template as required. After completion, click ‘Done’ in the top right corner to save.
