What are Flip Cards?

Flip cards are interactive learning elements that display information on two sides. Learners can click or tap to "flip" the card and reveal additional content on the reverse side. They're perfect for creating engaging knowledge checks, quick facts, or explaining concepts.

How to Create Flip Cards

Click Add on the screen to add an object. 

From the Interactive Content tab, select the card option you would like to use:

• Grid – flipcards arranged in a grid with either icons or images
• Carousel – flipcards arranged in a carousel with either icons or images
• Shuffle – cards arranged as a carousel, but only one side of the card is shown

Use the settings panel on the right to add your card text, images and icons. Be sure to keep the content concise to avoid unnecessary scrolling. 

Best Practices for Effective Flip Cards

• Keep content brief: flip cards work best with concise information that learners can quickly absorb
• Use consistent design: maintain the same style across all flip cards in your course
• Consider grouping: create sets of related flip cards for topics that need multiple examples
• Balance text and visuals: use images and icons to aid understanding, not just as decoration
